A Morgantown native, Amy is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, a 2000 Truman Scholar, and a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School.

Assistant Director (she/her)
Cate Johnson joined the ASPIRE Office as the new Program Coordinator in 2013. She graduated in 2012 from WVU with an MA in Geography and graduate certificates in both Women and Gender Studies and Nonprofit Management.

Katy Ferrari
Program Coordinator (she/her)
Katy Ferrari joined the ASPIRE Office as the new Program Coordinator in 2022. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Katy graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College with degrees in Medieval/Renaissance Studies and Italian. Katy studied law at Wake Forest University and worked in Florence, Italy for several years. She earned her Ph.D. in History at WVU, receiving a Fulbright to conduct her doctoral research in Turin, Italy.
