Pre-Law Prep Program
Designed to help WVU students prepare to apply for law school, the Pre-Law Prep Program provides a series of workshops and events, feedback on application materials and individual support.
The program provides:
- Insight into the practice of law and the law school experience
- Help preparing for the law school admissions process
- Tools needed to make informed decisions regarding law school
- Opportunities to enhance candidacy for law school

The required program timeline is as follows:
- Current juniors
- Sophomores in the 3+3 program
- These are students intending to submit law school applications the following fall.

The required program timeline is as follows:-
Junior Year (Sophomore Year for 3+3 students)
- Attend 4 out of 6 program events during the academic year.
- Attend 1 one-on-one advising meeting with the ASPIRE Office during April or May.
- Summer after Junior Year (Summer after Sophomore Year for 3+3 students)
- Submit 2 drafts of your personal statement to ASPIRE for feedback.
- Submit 2 drafts of your resume to ASPIRE for feedback.
