Schwarzman Scholarship
Program Information
Designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders, the Schwarzman Scholarship is the first scholarship created to respond to the geopolitical landscape of the 21st Century. The program gives the world's best and brightest students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a one-year Master's degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Schwarzman Scholars are selected based on academic aptitude and intellectual ability, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to anticipate and act on emerging trends and opportunities, exemplary character, and desire to understand other cultures, perspectives, and positions.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Schwarzman Scholarship you must be:
- On track to complete your undergraduate degree before the grant period begins or a recent graduate
- At least 18 but not yet 29 years of age by the time the grant begins
- Proficient in English
- Able to demonstrate excellence in their academic studies
Award Information
Schwarzman Scholars will receive a comprehensive scholarship, which includes tuition and fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, Lenovo laptop and smartphone, health insurance, and a modest personal stipend. Schwarzman Scholars live and study together at the Schwarzman College.
