How it works
Students should first attend a PCPP workshop (held twice each semester) to learn about the program. PCPP staff will also be available to meet individually with students. Students will then complete an application and have an in-take interview with PCPP staff. If the student is accepted, he or she will meet with PCPP staff and their academic advisor in his or her major to create a course schedule to meet the requirements of the program.
Throughout the program, each student will meet each semester with PCPP staff to ensure they are on the right course for completion.
PCPP staff will also organize social and educational events twice each semester for all active participants. Students will be required to attend at least one of these each semester.
After the student completes the requirements, he or she will earn the Peace Corps Prep Certificate.
